WHAT I'M SUBSCRIBING TO:
Hop Queries - legendary beer writer Stan Hieronymus' monthly newsletter "about all things Humulus lupulus." Hop microdosing anyone?

WHAT I'M PONDERING:
A Vibe Shift Is Coming: Will any of us survive it?  I was turned on to this article by one of my favorite food writers, Alicia Kennedy (who you should subscribe to). Guess what...time didn't really stand still over the last two years while you stayed in and watched Netflix. In this article a guy who has predicted and even named big cultural shifts says that a new one is about to arrive. Will you stagnate where you're at because your FOMO is gone (which is totally OK), or will you be part of the big cultural vibe shift that's coming?

WHAT I'M WATCHING:
Arcane: League of Legends. You absolutely MUST check out Arcane on Netflix. The main characters are a couple of badass sisters (it passes the Bechdel Test with flying colors). It's based on League of Legends mythology, but you don't need to know anything about that) and it's AWESOME. Here's the trailer.

PODCAST I'M LISTENING TO:
The Craft Beer & Brewing Podcast - This podcast is hardly a secret, but they've done a bunch a great episodes recently, including ones featuring Tom Jacobs of Antidoot, Cantillon's Jean Van Roy, the 3 Fonteinen folks, & Julia Herz of the American Homebrewers Assoc

SUBSTACK I'M DIGGING:
Michelle Tham Found Her Superpower by Beth Demmon. Beth is an award winning beer journo based in San Diego, CA. She writes about beer culture and diversity, among other topics. Her Substack, called Prohibitchin', is a once-a-month newsletter that highlights folk in the booze game who are doing interesting work and bringing diversity to the industry. Get subscribed!

WHAT I'M DANCING TO:
WWOZ. Mardi Gras just happened and I'm sad I wasn't in NOLA, my legit favorite city in the world. I get my NOLA fix by listening live online to the best radio station on Earth, WWOZ. You should, too, they have a lot of different shows throughout the week, so check back often!

BONUS LINK FOR FOLKS IN PORTLAND, OR:
Portland Annual SheBrew Fest - The Human Rights Campaign & a bunch of Portland homebrewers are serving up awesome beer at the SHEBREW Festivalthis Saturday, March 6th. Please go support! I'm out of town in SoCal recording new Beer Scholar content, otherwise I'd be there.

Have a lovely weekend, y'all!
